BEING NOBEL AT SCHOOL
Teaching Peace Education to enhance the confidence of children as agents of peace.

The general purpose of this book is to teach children “peace education”: the process of acquiring values, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and behaviours to live in harmony with oneself, others, and the natural environment. The ultimate goal is to bring about a culture of peace as a fundamental human right.
Since the early 20th century, "peace education" programs around the world have represented a spectrum of focal themes, including anti-nuclearism, international understanding, environmental responsibility, communication skills, nonviolence, conflict resolution techniques, democracy, human rights awareness, tolerance of diversity, coexistence, and gender equality. All these mentioned topics have been tackled by Nobel Peace Prize winners in the last 130 years.
